Hi everyone and welcome to my web page. This will be my page for everything other than
the trio (Scott Trayer Trio featuring Jason Scott and Emre Yurtsever). I hope to keep my
personal music calendar updated on this page. This will include gigs with the trio
as well as gigs with other bands that may be of interest to anyone. I will also
devote some of this page to cycling, marathons, and triathlons (my other
hobbies). Check back every once in a while because I'm sure I'll
be playing with this page constantly. See ya soon.

Paul Motian Stuff
Paul Motian has been one of my favorite musicians since I first got into jazz music. I, like most people, first heard him on recordings with the Bill Evans Trio from the late 1950's and early 1960's (the famous trio featuring Scotty Lafaro on bass). He has always been a "cutting edge" type of person and musician. I feel that many of the groups that he's played with over the years (including Keith Jarrett's Quartet as well as his own trio with Joe Lovano and Bill Frisell) have greatly changed and expanded jazz music.
I don't think that Paul has an "official" web site, but here are some good pages that I've found on other sites. If anyone knows of any others let me know. Enjoy!
